The Arts Society Wolverhampton
ENRICHING LIVES THROUGH THE ARTS

Welcome to our website

Chairman

The arts are an essential part of our lives, lifting us out of the daily round into a world of creativity, history and culture.

Across the UK, Ireland and large parts of the world, like-minded people regularly meet monthly to enjoy lectures and talks on the arts. They are members of local Arts Societies and I have the privilege of being the Chairman of The Arts Society Wolverhampton. We are a vibrant and lively society and in addition to our monthly meetings we arrange at least one other activity for our members each month. These activities could include visits to local museums, galleries or historic houses, longer trips, study days and special lectures. You will find our calendar of upcoming events on this website.

If you are not already a member, why not come along to one of our regular meetings, you will find we give a warm welcome to new visitors. We meet in the afternoon of the second Monday of each month at the main auditorium of Wolverhampton Science Park just off Stafford Road. Our programme of monthly lectures can also be found on this website.

You will also enjoy the social side of meeting people with similar interests, make new friends and develop some new interests in areas that you had never thought of before.

Ed Isaacs RBSA, Chairman

“The Arts Society offers enjoyable opportunities to discover and support the arts of yesterday, today and tomorrow, wherever you are.”
