PALLADIO AND ENGLISH PALLADIANISM
The lecture shows the influence of Lord Arundel and Lord Burlington on English Palladianism. Outlining their travels, the lecture shows the effect that both had on English Palladianism.
We are a very active group with a diverse series of events and projects that occur throughout the year. With around 300 members, we enjoy many different aspects of the arts through lectures, visits and special projects. Meetings are held every second Monday of the month at Linden House, Tettenhall Road.

Lecturer Anthony Hopkins
Previously Assistant Director of the British School in Rome and Associate Professor at the University of L’Aquila. PhD on Venetian architecture and a Fellow of Harvard University’s Villa I Tatti in Florence. Has published extensively including Baldassare Langheno and the Venetian Baroque (2012).
